Painters have always been my heroes. The Brush Off is both my paean to Los Angeles artists and my attempt to record this unique moment in time through portraiture. It has now taken on a life of its own, moved forward by collaborations with the most enthusiastic and open minded group of people imaginable. For me, as an artist, it has been life altering.
